Ever since I started longboarding, I’ve had this constant fear at the back of my head about how I’m gonna fall and hurt myself. Because of that, I rarely try anything new. I just ride to feel the wind. I know. I suck. I’m a wuss.
Now I realize that it’s just falling. I can get back up. It’s just…
Hello Longboarder,
You’re right to fear for your life especially if you’re not employing all the safety equipment you can. You should always wear a helmet, and pads, then you know that when you fall you can get up and skate with minimal injury to your person.Helmets are cool.
Skate safe!
we all are afraid when trying something new or something out of your comfort zone.
get all geared up and you’re good to go.
just to let you know, i myself have a head injury(not because of longboarding) and i still continue shreddin’ with my helmet on.
and recently i just broke my ankle (not to scare you) and i cant wait when i have the green light by the doctor to say i can skate again.
take things slow. know your limits. always skate with a buddy.
GET STOKED. GO SKATE. BE SAFE
